Google Podcasts Podcast Submission Services

You searched for Google Podcasts submission, and we are going to give you the honest answer before we give you the sales pitch: the Google Podcasts app was retired for United States listeners on 2 April 2024 and worldwide by June 2024, and Google Podcasts Manager closed along with it. If a submission service is still selling you a "Google Podcasts listing" in 2026, they are either reselling a dead form or quietly doing something else and not telling you.

Here is what did not disappear: the audience. Those listeners were moved to YouTube Music, and Google's podcast discovery surfaces now run through YouTube. Google did not carry podcaster accounts across — every show had to be re-submitted from scratch. Thousands never were. If your show was live on Google Podcasts before 2024 and nobody re-listed it, you have been invisible on the largest Android listening surface in the world for two years.

That is the job this page is about. We audit where your show actually stands, submit and verify it on the platform that replaced Google Podcasts, correct the feed problems that block ingestion, and then push your show into the wider directory network and into Google Search itself.

Google Podcasts shutdown and migration to YouTube Music explained
The Migration

What Happened to Google Podcasts, and Where Your Listeners Went

Google announced the wind-down in September 2023 as part of consolidating its audio products under YouTube. The standalone app closed in the US in April 2024 and globally two months later. Listeners were offered a migration tool to move their subscriptions into YouTube Music or export them as an OPML file for another app.

For podcasters, the change was sharper than it looked. Google Podcasts Manager — the free dashboard where you submitted your RSS feed, verified ownership by email and read impression data — was decommissioned. Nothing on the creator side transferred automatically. YouTube runs on its own account system, its own metadata rules and its own ingestion pipeline. A show that was perfectly listed in Google Podcasts in 2023 has no standing on YouTube Music today unless somebody actively submitted it.

On YouTube, a podcast is not a feed entry. It is a playlist, and each episode is a video. When you connect an RSS feed, YouTube generates a static-image video for every episode using your show art and publishes them to your channel, with new episodes ingested automatically as you release them. That is a different technical model from Apple Podcasts or Spotify, and it comes with rules most podcasters trip over the first time.

Opportunity

Why Google Podcast Submission Still Matters in 2026

The brand is gone; the opportunity got bigger. Three reasons this work is worth paying for:

Android reach.

Google Podcasts was installed on hundreds of millions of Android devices. That audience did not switch to iPhones. It moved to YouTube Music, which now sits pre-installed or one tap away on the same phones, in cars, on smart speakers and on TVs.

Search visibility.

Google still surfaces podcast content in search results — it just routes through YouTube now instead of a dedicated podcast player. Episodes that exist as YouTube videos with clean titles, descriptions and chapters can rank for the questions your episodes actually answer. Audio sitting only on a host's server cannot.

The re-submission gap.

Because migration was not automatic, a large share of shows that were listed pre-2024 are still missing. That is a competitive gap in almost every niche, and it closes for the shows that act on it.

Our Services

Our Google Podcasts Submission Services

Every engagement starts with an audit, because half the shows that come to us do not need what they think they need.

Podcast submission service deliverables from feed repair to directory syndication
01

Legacy listing audit

We check what actually exists today: whether your show appears on YouTube Music, whether an unofficial or auto-generated listing was created without your knowledge, whether an old distributor still holds control of your feed, and which of the major directories currently carry you. You get a one-page status sheet before any work starts.

02

RSS feed repair and validation

Ingestion failures are almost always feed failures. We validate your XML against the RSS 2.0 and iTunes namespace specifications, fix broken enclosure URLs, malformed publication dates, missing episode GUIDs, unescaped characters in titles and descriptions, and the HTML that YouTube's ingestion rejects outright. We also add the Podcasting 2.0 tags — transcript, chapters, person, location — that newer apps and indexes read.

03

YouTube and YouTube Music submission

We connect your feed through YouTube Studio, complete the email verification step that proves you own the show, choose the back-catalogue range to ingest, set the paid-promotion declaration correctly, and hold the podcast private until every episode has landed cleanly. Only then do we publish. We also configure the playlist as a designated podcast so it inherits YouTube's podcast features rather than sitting as a plain playlist.

04

Directory syndication

Placement on one platform is not a strategy. We submit and verify your show across the live directories that matter for your market — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and Audible, iHeartRadio, Podchaser, Podcast Index, Deezer, Castbox, Player FM, TuneIn, Pocket Casts, Overcast, Podcast Addict and the regional indexes relevant to your audience.

05

Listing and episode SEO

We rewrite show and episode metadata for search, not for your internal style guide: titles built around real queries, descriptions that front-load the answer, category and language declarations set for the taxonomy each platform actually uses, artwork supplied at the correct dimensions, and canonical episode pages on your own website carrying PodcastEpisode schema.

Workflow

How the Submission Process Works

01

Step one — discovery and audit. We take your RSS feed URL, your hosting details and your target markets. Within two working days you receive the status sheet: where you are listed, where you are missing, and every feed error blocking ingestion, ranked by severity.

02

Step two — feed remediation. We fix what we can in your host's dashboard and document anything that needs a hosting change or a migration with 301 redirects. Nothing goes to a directory until the feed passes validation, because a rejected submission can cost you weeks in a review queue.

03

Step three — metadata and artwork. Show title, author, description, category, language, country of origin, explicit flag and cover art are prepared to each platform's specification. Artwork is delivered square, at least 1400 by 1400 pixels, RGB, with no text that becomes unreadable at thumbnail size.

04

Step four — submission and verification. Feeds are submitted, verification codes are retrieved and entered, and ownership claims are completed where a platform requires a manual claim rather than an automatic listing.

05

Step five — confirmation report. You receive live listing links for every platform, screenshots, the verification status of each, and a note on anything still sitting in a review queue with its expected turnaround.

06

Step six — ongoing optimisation. On retained plans we monitor for feed breakages, delisting, duplicate listings and new platform requirements, and we optimise episode metadata as we learn which queries pull listeners in.

The Rules That Catch Podcasters Out

We put these in writing before you pay us, because they change what is possible:

Regional availability.

RSS ingestion into YouTube is available in selected countries only. If your channel's country is not covered, we plan an alternative route rather than promising a listing we cannot deliver.

Advertising restrictions.

YouTube's terms do not allow RSS-ingested podcast content to carry embedded advertisements. If you run dynamic ad insertion, we set up a clean feed variant for ingestion instead of breaking your ad revenue. Host-read sponsorships and branded content must be declared through the paid-promotion setting.

Uploads are permanent.

Once an episode is ingested as a video, its audio cannot be swapped. Re-releasing a corrected episode means a fresh upload, so we ingest to a private state and check every episode before anything goes public.

Analytics live elsewhere.

YouTube listening data appears in YouTube Studio, not in your podcast host's stats tab. We show you how to read both and how to combine them into one honest number.

Global Markets

Who We Work With

We handle podcast submission for independent creators, B2B brands running thought-leadership shows, agencies white-labelling the work for their own clients, media companies with large back catalogues, universities and training institutes, and non-profits. Show formats range from solo commentary to interview series, narrative documentary, video-first podcasts and private internal feeds.

Our clients are based across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, and we work to their timezone for calls and reporting. Market context matters in this work: platform availability differs by country, category taxonomies differ, and a show targeting listeners in Singapore or India needs different regional directories from one targeting Chicago or Manchester. We set that up per market rather than running one generic checklist.

Packages

Podcast Submission Packages

We quote after the audit, not before it. A three-episode show and a four-hundred-episode back catalogue are not the same job, and pricing a page before we have seen your feed would be guesswork.

Why Us

Why Choose SEO Service in India

We have run submission, migration and podcast SEO work through the entire Google Podcasts wind-down and the YouTube Music transition that followed, so we are not learning the new rules on your account. We work directly inside RSS and inside the platform dashboards rather than pushing everything through a single one-click distribution button, which is exactly why we catch the listings that button silently misses.

We tell you when a platform listing is free. Several directories charge nothing to list — what you are paying us for is the audit, the feed repair, the metadata, the verification chase and the search work around it, not access to a form. We say so on this page for the same reason we told you Google Podcasts is closed: you will find out either way, and we would rather you heard it from us.

You get named links you can click, not a claim that submission is "in progress". Every listing we report is one you can verify yourself in thirty seconds.

Free Feed Audit

Start With a Free Feed Audit

Send us your RSS feed URL and the markets you care about. We will come back with your current listing status, the feed errors blocking ingestion, and a plain recommendation on whether you need a full submission programme or just two fixes you can make yourself. No obligation, and no pretending a closed platform is still open.

No. Google Podcasts closed for United States users on 2 April 2024 and globally in June 2024, and Google Podcasts Manager shut down with it. Google's podcast audience now sits on YouTube Music and YouTube.

No. Listener subscriptions could be migrated with a tool, but podcaster accounts and show listings did not transfer. Every show has to be submitted to YouTube separately, which is why many pre-2024 podcasts are still missing.

Yes. Podcast content surfaces in Google results through YouTube and through your own episode pages. Transcripts, structured data and canonical episode pages on your website are what make that possible.

Feed repair and submission usually take two to five working days. Listings appear anywhere from a few hours to two weeks depending on the platform's review queue, and we report the status of each one.

Yes. You need a valid RSS feed with reliably hosted audio files. If you do not have one, or your current host is causing feed errors, we will recommend a suitable host and handle the migration with redirects so no listener loses the feed.

One-click distribution covers the platforms that accept automated submission. It does not fix a malformed feed, complete manual ownership claims, chase verification codes, set category and language for each platform's own taxonomy, or do any of the search work that makes episodes findable.

We work with podcasters globally, with concentrated experience in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, and we adjust the directory set and category strategy by market.

Pricing depends on catalogue size, number of markets and how much feed repair is required, so we quote after the free audit. You will receive a fixed scope and a fixed price before any work begins.
