Its audience is small in share but high in quality. Pocket Casts accounts for roughly 1.2% of measured podcast downloads. That number gets quoted to argue the platform doesn't matter. We think that reading is lazy. Pocket Casts users are deliberate listeners who chose a paid-feature podcast app over the default one on their phone.
