iHeartRadio Podcast Submission Services
Your show is recorded, edited, published and sitting on Apple and Spotify. iHeartRadio is the obvious next listing — it is the largest podcast destination in the United States and it reaches listeners in places most directories never touch: car dashboards, smart speakers, wearables, connected TVs and hundreds of broadcast radio brands. Then you open the submission portal, and depending on where you are sitting in the world, it either works in four minutes or refuses to load at all.
Our iHeartRadio podcast submission services exist for everything in between. We audit the feed, fix what iHeartRadio will reject, pick the right submission route for your country, complete the submission, chase the verification, and confirm the show is genuinely live and pulling new episodes — not just “submitted somewhere”. SEOServiceinIndia works with podcasters and brands across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, and the route we take differs for each of those markets.
What iHeartRadio Actually Is, and Why the Listing Is Worth Having
iHeartRadio is not a podcast app that happens to have radio attached. It is a broadcast network that built a digital platform on top of hundreds of live stations, and podcasts sit inside that same product. That single structural fact is why the listing behaves differently from every other directory you have submitted to.
The reach is genuine
In Podtrac's US publisher rankings through 2026, the iHeart Audience Network has consistently held the number one position, measured in tens of millions of unique monthly listeners and hundreds of millions of monthly streams and downloads across more than twenty-six thousand active shows. The app itself runs on well over two hundred device types — phones, tablets, Alexa and smart speakers, car head units, smartwatches and television.
A listener you cannot reach on Apple alone
What that means practically is a listener profile you will not reach through Apple Podcasts alone. iHeartRadio users skew toward passive, in-car and in-home listening: people who ask a speaker to play something while cooking, or who tap a dashboard tile on the commute. If your show is the kind of thing someone would leave running in the background — news, true crime, business talk, comedy, sport, health — that audience is worth deliberately going after.
And the limits, stated up front
Being honest about the limits matters too. iHeartRadio's podcaster analytics are thinner than Spotify's or Apple's; you will still rely on your host's numbers for real measurement. And it is a US-centred platform, so a hyper-local UK or Singapore show with no North American audience will see a smaller lift than a globally relevant one. We tell clients that before we quote, not after.
Geo-Restriction
The One Thing Most “Submit to iHeartRadio” Guides Do Not Tell You
Almost every blog post about iHeartRadio submission was written by someone sitting in the United States. So they describe a four-step process that works perfectly for them and fails completely for a large share of the world's podcasters.
iHeartRadio's podcaster portal is geo-restricted. Only individuals located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand can access and submit shows directly through it. If you are publishing from London, Singapore, Dubai, Mumbai or Delhi, the direct route is closed to you. Not slow, not fiddly — closed.
This is where most DIY attempts die. The creator finds the portal, hits a wall, assumes the platform is broken or that their show was rejected, and gives up. The show never gets listed, and a year later they are still telling people they “couldn't get on iHeart”.
If you are in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia or New Zealand
The direct portal route is available to you. We handle it end to end: account setup, feed submission, the ownership verification step, and the follow-up until the show appears in the app and on the web player.
If you are in the UK, Singapore, India, the UAE or anywhere else
There are two working routes, and choosing between them is the actual expertise being sold here.
Route one — the partner host route
iHeartRadio accepts submissions passed through a set of participating hosting platforms, including Omny Studio, Spreaker, Libsyn, Audioboom, PodBean, Pinecast and Podomatic. If you already host with one of these, we can push the submission from inside your existing dashboard without you moving anything. If you host elsewhere, we assess whether migrating is worth it — and often it is not, because a migration done badly costs you subscribers and rankings on every other platform.
Route two — the direct support route
Where a creator sits outside the supported regions and their host has no iHeart integration, iHeartRadio's own guidance is to raise it with their support team. We prepare and submit that request properly — feed URL, ownership evidence, show details, category, contact address — so it is actionable on the first pass rather than bouncing back for missing information.
We decide which route applies during the free feed audit, before any money changes hands. That decision alone is why clients in non-supported regions come to us instead of trying twice and quitting.
Requirements
What iHeartRadio Requires Before It Will Accept Your Feed
Approval is manual. A human reviews the submission, and the review either goes through in a few days or comes back because something small was wrong. These are the checks we run before we submit anything:
01
Cover artwork
Square 1:1 ratio, JPG or PNG, minimum 1400x1400 pixels. If your artwork is rectangular, low resolution, or carries text that vanishes at thumbnail size on a car screen, we rebuild it.
02
A unique show title
Titles that duplicate an existing iHeartRadio show cause confusion and complicate review. We check the catalogue first and advise on a distinguishing subtitle if needed.
03
A valid, live RSS feed with at least one published episode
Empty feeds and feeds returning intermittent errors do not get listed.
04
The owner email address inside the feed
iHeartRadio verifies ownership against the email published in your RSS. Several hosts hide that address by default to stop spam harvesting — which means the verification silently fails. We expose it for the submission window, complete verification, then let it hide again.
05
Clean metadata
Description, category, language, explicit flag, author, artwork URL and episode enclosures all need to be correct and consistent. Inconsistent categories between your feed and the submission form is a common stall point.
Workflow
Our iHeartRadio Podcast Submission Process
Seven steps, run in the same order on every show — and the job is not reported as done until the listing is verified live.
01
Free feed audit
We pull your RSS, validate it, check artwork against iHeart's specification, review metadata and flag anything that would cause a rejection. You get the findings in writing whether or not you hire us.
02
Route selection
Based on your location and your current host, we confirm whether you go direct, through a partner host, or through a support request.
03
Pre-submission repairs
Artwork rebuilt to specification, owner email exposed, categories aligned, description rewritten with the search language your listeners actually use, episode titles cleaned up.
04
Submission
We complete the submission on the correct route, with correct show details and terms accepted.
05
Ownership verification
We monitor the verification email, complete the confirmation, and resolve mismatches between your account email and the feed owner email — the single most common failure point.
06
Listing verification
We do not report a job as done at the point of submission. We confirm the show is visible on the iHeartRadio web player and in the app, that artwork rendered correctly, that the description is intact, and that a newly published episode pulls through automatically.
07
Handover
You receive your live iHeartRadio show URL, a follow badge or link for your website and show notes, and a short document covering how to update your feed URL later if you ever change hosts.
New for 2026
Video Podcasts on iHeartRadio: What Changed in 2026
This is the newest part of the platform and the part your competitors' pages have not caught up with.
iHeartRadio now supports full-length video versions of podcasts inside both the app and the web player, and it is offered to creators at no additional cost. Crucially, video is distributed through the same standard RSS workflow — you do not upload to iHeart, you do not host with iHeart, and there is no revenue share taken. You keep ownership, you keep your host, and you keep control of your own advertising.
For anyone already recording on camera and cutting a YouTube version, this is free incremental distribution. But it only works if your feed is structured to carry it and your video assets are hosted somewhere that serves reliably at scale.
We handle the setup: confirming your host supports the video enclosure workflow, checking file formats and aspect ratios, making sure the audio-only experience is not degraded for listeners who never watch, and deciding per show whether video distribution is worth the production overhead at all. Plenty of shows should stay audio-only, and we will say so.
Diagnosis
Why iHeartRadio Submissions Stall or Get Rejected
After running this process across a lot of shows, the failures cluster into a short list.
The owner email in the feed is hidden or does not match the submitting account, so verification never completes. The artwork is 1080x1080 or a rectangle, so it fails specification. The feed has zero published episodes because the client submitted before launch. The show title collides with an existing listing. The creator is outside the five supported regions and never realised the portal was geo-blocked. The feed URL changed after a host migration and the listing quietly stopped updating, so the show looks abandoned.
That last one matters more than people expect. If you have migrated hosts and never updated your RSS URL inside the iHeartRadio podcaster dashboard, iHeart is still polling a dead feed. Your listing exists, your recent episodes do not. We audit for this on shows that are already listed, and fix it — it is one of the most common problems we find on established podcasts that assume everything is fine.
Discoverability
The Listing Is Only Half the Job
Let us be straightforward with you: submitting a podcast to iHeartRadio is free. There is no listing fee. What you are paying us for is the work around it — the audit, the repairs, the route selection for restricted regions, the verification chase, and the discoverability work that turns a listing into an audience.
That second half is where most of the value sits. A show can be listed on twenty platforms and still be invisible, because nobody searches a directory for a podcast they have never heard of. So alongside submission we build the discovery layer: keyword-led show and episode descriptions that match how people actually search your topic, published transcripts on canonical episode pages, PodcastEpisode schema so search engines and AI answer engines can read your episodes as structured content, internal linking from your site to your episode pages, and consistent metadata across every directory so the show reads as one authoritative entity rather than six inconsistent listings.
Packages
iHeartRadio Podcast Submission Packages
Every engagement starts with the free feed audit. We quote only after we have seen your feed, because a clean feed from a supported region is a very different job from a broken feed in a restricted one.
Starter
For a single show that needs to be listed properly. Feed audit, artwork check, metadata repair, submission on the correct route, ownership verification, listing confirmation and your live show URL.
Growth
For shows treating podcasting as an acquisition channel. Everything in Starter, plus submission to the wider live directory set, optimised show and episode descriptions, transcript publishing on your episode pages, PodcastEpisode schema, and monthly listing health monitoring.
Enterprise
For networks, publishers and multi-show brands. Bulk submission across a catalogue, host migration with GUID preservation and 301 redirects, video distribution setup, taxonomy and metadata standardisation across every show, and a named point of contact.
Honest Fit
Who This Service Is Not For
If you have not published a first episode yet, wait. Submit once the feed has real content in it.
If your show is hyper-local to a market with no iHeartRadio presence and no North American, Australian or New Zealand listeners, the listing will not move your numbers much. We will tell you that at the audit stage rather than take the work.
And if you host with a platform that already offers one-click iHeart distribution and you are in a supported region with a clean feed, you may not need us for the submission itself. In that case what we will pitch you is the discoverability work, not a button you can press yourself.

Why Podcasters Choose SEOServiceinIndia
Distribution and podcast SEO as a standing practice
We run podcast distribution and podcast SEO as an ongoing practice, not an occasional add-on. We work across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, which is precisely why the geo-restriction problem is something we solved a long time ago instead of discovering it mid-project.
Reporting you can verify yourself
Our reporting is verifiable. You get the live listing URL, screenshots of the show in the app and web player, and confirmation that a fresh episode pulled through — not a status email saying “submitted”. Our recommendations are checked against current platform documentation rather than recycled from listicles, which is why this page tells you the portal is geo-blocked and that the listing itself is free. And we scope honestly, including telling you when a platform is a weak fit for your show.
Yes. iHeartRadio does not charge a listing fee. Our fee covers the feed audit, the pre-submission repairs, choosing and executing the correct route for your country, the ownership verification, and the discoverability work around the listing.
Not through the direct podcaster portal — access to it is limited to the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. Creators elsewhere need to go through a participating partner host or a support request, and we handle both routes.
Review is manual. In practice most submissions land somewhere between a few days and two weeks. Submissions with artwork or verification problems take longer, which is why we fix those before submitting.
Square 1:1 artwork in JPG or PNG format, at least 1400x1400 pixels. If your existing artwork does not meet that, we rebuild it to specification without changing your brand identity.
The usual causes are a failed ownership verification because the owner email in your RSS is hidden or does not match your account, artwork that fails specification, a feed with no published episodes, or a title clash. We diagnose which one applies and resolve it.
Usually no. If you are in a supported region you can submit directly regardless of host. If you are outside those regions and your host has no iHeart integration, migration is one option — but we only recommend it when the wider benefits justify it, and we handle redirects and GUID preservation if we do.
Yes. Video distribution is now supported through your standard RSS feed, at no cost, with no revenue share and no requirement to host video with iHeart. We assess whether it is worth doing for your show and handle the setup if it is.
You update it inside the iHeartRadio podcaster dashboard so the platform keeps pulling your episodes. If that step is missed, your listing silently stops updating. We include this in the handover documentation and can manage the update for you.
We work with podcasters and brands across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, and with clients in other markets on request.
