Pandora Podcast Submission Services
Getting a show onto Pandora is not the same job it was three years ago, and most of the "how to" guides still circulating online describe a portal that no longer exists. If you have tried to submit and hit a dead link, or you submitted years ago and cannot find your analytics anywhere, you are not doing anything wrong — the door moved.
Our Pandora podcast submission services cover the whole job as it works today: a full RSS feed audit, artwork and metadata compliance, submission through the correct portal, ownership verification, listing confirmation, and analytics access once your show is live. We also tell you honestly, before you pay anything, whether a Pandora listing is worth it for the audience you are actually trying to reach.
What Pandora Podcast Submission Actually Involves in 2026
Let's correct the record first, because this is where most creators lose weeks.
Pandora is owned by SiriusXM. The old "Pandora for Podcasters" portal — the AMP dashboard that every listicle from 2019 to 2022 tells you to use — has been retired. Pandora submissions now run through Simplecast Creator Connect, which is free to use, does not require you to move your podcast to Simplecast hosting, and covers Pandora and SiriusXM in a single submission; you cannot choose one platform and skip the other. RSS.com
That last point matters more than it looks. You are not buying a single listing. One approved feed places your show inside the SiriusXM streaming ecosystem as well as on Pandora, which is a meaningfully different distribution outcome from adding one more app to your directory list.
Creator Connect also confirms ownership by emailing the address published inside your RSS feed, and the technical bar is a valid podcast RSS feed — if your show is already approved on Apple Podcasts, it generally already meets the requirements. Simple in theory. In practice, that owner-email requirement is the single most common reason submissions stall, because a lot of hosting platforms hide that address by default for spam protection. Simplecast
Second correction: Stitcher no longer exists as a consumer app, so any page telling you that submitting to Pandora also gets you onto Stitcher is out of date. The pairing today is Pandora plus the SiriusXM app.
Before You Buy: Is a Pandora Listing Right for Your Show?
We would rather lose the sale than take money for a listing that cannot reach your listeners. So here is the constraint no competitor page states plainly.
Pandora's streaming service is licensed for the United States only. Non-US IP addresses are blocked, and the earlier Australia and New Zealand rollouts ended in 2017. There is no UK edition, no Canadian edition, no Singapore or India edition. VeePN
So the honest fit assessment looks like this:
Strong fit — your show targets US listeners, or you sell to a US market, or a large share of your existing downloads already come from the United States. Pandora reported approximately 40.1 million monthly active users and around 5.6 million self-pay subscribers in the first quarter of 2026, with advertising revenue up 5% year on year driven partly by strength in podcasting. That is a large, ad-supported, habitual audio audience with heavy in-car and connected-device listening — a listening context most podcast apps do not own. SEC.gov
Weak fit — your show is a UK-only local business podcast, a Singapore-only B2B series, or a regional-language Indian show with no US diaspora audience. A Pandora listing will still be technically live, but nobody in your target market can open it. We will tell you that at audit stage and point you to directories that actually serve your geography instead.
Middle ground — you are based in the UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore or India, but you sell to American clients, or you have a US diaspora audience. This is where most of our clients sit, and it is usually worth doing.
The Podcast Genome Project: Why Metadata Decides Whether You Get In
Pandora does not work like an open index that swallows any valid feed. Independent podcast submissions are reviewed and approved individually, and given the volume of interest, not every show is selected for inclusion. Blubrry
Behind that review sits the Podcast Genome Project, Pandora's podcast equivalent of the Music Genome Project that made the platform famous. Launched in December 2018, it combines content attributes with machine learning to serve personalised podcast recommendations matched to individual listener tastes. It reads your show the way a cataloguer would: subject matter, format, tone, episode structure, category signals, description language. Blubrry
The practical consequence is that on Pandora, your metadata is not admin work you rush through before submitting. It is the input to the recommendation engine that decides who ever hears your show. A vague description, a generic category choice, a title that does not say what the show is about, and inconsistent episode titling all reduce your chances twice over — once at review, once at recommendation.
This is where most of our work sits. Anyone can paste an RSS URL into a form. Writing show and episode metadata that a curation-plus-machine-learning system can classify accurately is the part that takes experience.
Our Pandora Podcast Submission Process
1. Free feed audit and fit assessment. We validate your RSS feed, check every required tag, review your artwork against specification, and look at where your existing listeners actually are. If Pandora is a poor fit for your audience, you get told before any invoice.
2. Feed remediation. We fix what would fail: missing or hidden owner email, broken enclosure URLs, inconsistent GUIDs, missing episode durations, malformed publication dates, incorrect explicit tagging, missing author fields, and category assignments that do not match your actual content.
3. Artwork compliance. Cover art needs to be square, in JPG or PNG, with 3000x3000 pixels as the recommended standard; it must be original, cannot contain explicit imagery or language, cannot be a placeholder or default host image, cannot be pixelated or blurry, and cannot include Pandora logos. The show also needs a unique title with unique branding and at least one published episode. We check every one of these and rebuild the artwork if it fails. Live365
4. Metadata writing. Show title, subtitle, description and category set written for classification and for human browsing, plus a consistent episode-title convention going forward.
5. Submission through Creator Connect. We create or access the account, run the add-show flow, and submit your feed correctly the first time.
6. Ownership verification. This is the failure point. The verification email goes to the address published in your RSS feed — not the address you registered with. On some hosts that address is hidden by default and, in at least one platform's implementation, only stays visible for a limited window before it hides itself again. We coordinate the timing with you so the email is caught and answered inside the window.
7. Listing confirmation and analytics handover. We confirm the show is live, capture your public Pandora URL for your website and press kit, and hand over the Creator Connect analytics dashboard so you can see platform-level listener data.
Submitted Before? Your Show May Be Listed but Unclaimed
If you submitted to Pandora through the original portal years ago, there is a good chance your show is live on Pandora right now and you have no dashboard, no analytics and no control over it.
Shows added through the old portal still need a Creator Connect account, because the terms of service changed — until the show is claimed there, no current agreement covers it. Claiming means submitting the RSS feed, signing the updated licensing agreement and validating the owner email once, after which Pandora listener analytics become available. RSS.comAMP Playbook
We run this as a distinct service: legacy listing audit, claim, agreement, verification, and a metadata refresh on the existing record. A surprising number of shows we take on are already listed and simply invisible to their own owners.

Feed and Artwork Faults That Stall Submissions
From the feeds we audit, these are the recurring faults:
Owner email hidden or wrong. The most common cause of a submission that goes nowhere. Verification cannot complete, and no error is shown to explain why.
Placeholder or host-default artwork. Explicitly disallowed. So are logos borrowed from platforms.
Artwork below specification or non-square. Upscaled small files look blurry against the standard and get flagged.
Unstable GUIDs. If your host regenerates episode identifiers, platforms see duplicates or re-publish old episodes as new.
Missing durations and enclosure lengths. Players and ingestion systems both rely on these.
Category mismatch. A business interview show filed under Society and Culture will be classified against the wrong audience.
Title collision. A show title that duplicates an existing programme breaks the unique-title and unique-branding requirement.
Feed audio format. MP3 is the safest, most universally accepted format. Where a feed serves other formats, we check compatibility before submitting rather than after rejection.
Beyond the Listing: Discovery and AI Answer Engines
A directory listing is a placement. It is not, on its own, discovery. The shows that grow are the ones that are also findable outside the app.
So alongside submission we work on the discovery layer: publishing full transcripts on canonical episode pages on your own site, marking those pages up with PodcastEpisode and PodcastSeries schema, adding the RSS auto-discovery tag to your site head, writing episode titles that match the language people actually search, and structuring show notes so that answer engines and AI assistants can quote your episodes accurately when someone asks a question your show already answers.
This is increasingly where new listeners begin — a search or an AI answer that surfaces your episode, then a click to whichever app they already use. Pandora is one endpoint in that chain. The chain itself is the asset.
Monetisation and In-Car Reach
Pandora's value to a podcaster is not only its user count — it is the listening context. Pandora is heavily used in cars, on smart speakers and on connected devices, and it reaches listeners through an ad-supported free tier rather than requiring a subscription. That is a different listener from someone deliberately browsing a podcast app.
It also sits inside a commercial ecosystem. SiriusXM's publisher solutions business combines Simplecast and AdsWizz, offering podcasters dynamic ad insertion, ad serving and programmatic solutions. SiriusXM reports a combined monthly audience of approximately 255 million listeners across its portfolio. SimplecastSirius XM Holdings
We are not going to promise you advertising revenue — that depends on your download numbers, your niche and your consistency. What we will do is make sure your show is correctly listed, correctly claimed and correctly measured, which is the precondition for any of that conversation happening at all.
Pandora Podcast Submission Packages
We quote after the free feed audit, never before, because the work varies enormously between a clean feed that needs a form filled and a five-year-old feed with broken GUIDs and a legacy unclaimed listing.
Starter — single show, feed audit and repair, artwork compliance check, metadata optimisation, Creator Connect submission, ownership verification, listing confirmation.
Growth — everything in Starter, plus legacy listing claim, artwork redesign, episode-level metadata rewrite across your back catalogue, syndication to the full live directory set, transcripts and schema on your canonical episode pages.
Enterprise — for networks and multi-show publishers: bulk submission and claim across a catalogue, standardised metadata conventions applied show by show, migration support with 301 redirects and GUID preservation, ongoing feed monitoring, and consolidated reporting.
To be completely straightforward with you: the Pandora listing itself is free. Creator Connect costs nothing and you can do this yourself. What you are paying us for is the audit, the feed repair, the artwork, the metadata that gets a show through a curated review, the verification timing, the claim on legacy listings, and the syndication and discovery work around it. If that is not worth it to you, do it yourself — we would rather say that than dress up a free form as a paid product.
Why Work With SEOServiceinIndia
We have run podcast submission and directory work across the live platform set — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Castbox, iVoox, JioSaavn, Hubhopper, Podcast Index and more — and we maintain a working record of which platforms are alive, which have quietly closed, and which have moved their submission process. That is why this page tells you the AMP portal is gone instead of sending you to a dead link.
We work with podcasters and brands across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, and we are equally willing to tell a client that a particular directory is not worth their money. Our reports state what was changed, what was submitted, what was approved and what is still pending — no vanity metrics.
Who This Service Is Not For
Shows with a purely non-US audience and no plan to reach American listeners
Private, paywalled or unlisted feeds that cannot be publicly distributed
Shows with no published episodes yet — publish at least one first
Anyone wanting a guaranteed approval; submissions are reviewed individually and no agency can override that
Anyone wanting an overnight result; review takes time and we will not pretend otherwise

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it free to submit a podcast to Pandora?
Yes. Registering for Creator Connect is free and you can keep using whatever hosting platform you currently use. Our fee covers the audit, feed repair, artwork, metadata and verification work around the submission, not the listing itself. AMP Playbook
What happened to Pandora for Podcasters?
It was retired. Pandora submissions now go through Simplecast Creator Connect instead. Any guide still pointing you to the old AMP dashboard is out of date. RSS.com
Do I need to host my podcast on Simplecast?
No. Creator Connect is free to claim and submit your show whether or not you are an existing Simplecast customer, and you do not have to host your content there. Pandora Community
Can I submit to Pandora without also going on SiriusXM?
No. One submission covers both Pandora and SiriusXM, and you cannot pick one and skip the other. For most shows this is a benefit rather than a limitation. RSS.com
Can listeners outside the United States hear my show on Pandora?
No. Pandora is licensed for the United States only and blocks non-US IP addresses; the Australia and New Zealand services closed in 2017. We assess this at audit stage before recommending the service. VeePN
How long does Pandora take to approve a podcast?
It varies, and it is a genuine review rather than an automated ingest. Submissions are reviewed and approved individually, and not all shows are selected for inclusion. Plan for weeks rather than days and do not submit the same show twice. Blubrry
Why do submissions usually fail?
Ownership verification. The owner of the email address published in the RSS feed must respond to the verification email before the show can be added. If your host hides that address, the email never reaches you. Simplecast
I submitted years ago — do I need to do anything?
Probably yes. Shows added through the old portal still need a Creator Connect account because the terms of service changed, and until the show is claimed there, no current agreement covers it. Claiming also unlocks your listener analytics. RSS.com
